Terms of use
The short, honest version.
These terms cover your use of the Switcher 5G app and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms.
The software is open source
Switcher 5G is released under the MIT License. You can use, copy, modify and share it under that license.
Use it at your own risk
- The app changes your phone’s preferred network type using system interfaces that phone makers and carriers do not officially support for this purpose.
- Results depend on your phone, your software version, your SIM and your carrier. A mode may not apply, or may leave you without signal until you switch back.
- You are responsible for following your carrier’s terms of service and your local laws.
- You are responsible for rooting or starting Shizuku on your own phone, and for what you allow those tools to do.
No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. The authors and contributors are not liable for any claim, damage or loss, including loss of service, data or warranty, arising from using the app or this site. This repeats the MIT License notice, which applies in full.
Downloads
Only download the APK from this site or the project’s GitHub Releases. Compare the SHA-256 checksum on the download page. We cannot vouch for copies from other places.

Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it. PLACEHOLDER: have a lawyer review these terms before relying on them
